Respectful display of the American Flag is a right guaranteed to American Citizens by our constitution and the hundreds of thousands of Americans who gave their lives to defend that right. It is a right that can not be infringed upon by a city, university, HOA, or other group of “self appointed authorities”. Do what I did when I was told that my American Flag was a sign and I had to get a city permit to fly the flag that I defended for eight years. I told the City Attorney to let me know when he was coming to write me a ticket, and I told him to bring lots of bail money because when he handed me the ticket I would have an FBI Agent there to arrest him for violation of Title 1975 United States Code. (Denial of my Civil Rights) He never showed up with the ticket and the city repealed their flag ordinance.
